Terms of Service

Last updated: 07/04/2024

To see Commission Info you have to accept the Terms of Service.

1. General rules

  • By purchasing a commission from me, you agree to the following terms of service.

  • Please remain civil; write in a clear and concise manner.

  • Disrespectful behaviour will not be tolerated and will result in your commission getting cancelled.

  • I have the right to refuse a commission for any reason.

2. Client obligations

  • Carefully read through the TOS and Commission Information.

  • Remain professional throghout the commission process.

  • Provide at the very least one clear reference image of the character(s). Mood boards or quick visualisations on paper or in MS paint are also welcome!

  • Assume responsobility for failing to provide any important information, descriptions, or references, which then results in me either having to make major changes to the commision and charge you revision fees, or not being able to complete the commission to your full satisfaction.

3. Payment and fees

  • Payment is to be done through a Paypal invoice using GBP.

  • Payment is due upfront in full. Partial Payment may be done in the case of commissions over £100, in which case half of the payment will be due upfront, and the other half after the sketch is approved.

  • Additional fees may be charged for excessive or major revisions (see Revisions below).

4. Creative Process

  • The Creative Process begins soon after your commission gets approved and I receive the agreed upon Payment.

  • The resolution of most illustrations will be in A4, around 2480 x 3508 pixels (21.00cm x 29.70cm) 300dpi unless stated otherwise (see commission info tab) or a different size is requested by the Commissioner.

  • The stages of the Creative Process go as follows: sketch, lineart, and render. Depending on the style requested for the commission, the lineart stage may be replaced by a clean-up stage, where the initial sketch is used as the lineart.

  • I will send lower-res watermarked progress screenshots of each stage throughout the entire Process. I will only begin to move on from one stage onto another after you approve the previous one.

  • The Client will receive the finished piece as a png via a .zip or .rar file to ensure high quality.

5. Revisions

  • I allow for one complete revision or major revision during the sketch stage of the Process, as well as multiple minor revisions. These are already accounted for in the base price of the commission, so don't feel bad about asking for changes.

  • After the sketch has been approved, I accept up to three minor revisions to the lineart (this includes, for example, slightly changing the hand gesture, face expression, adding/removing small accesories and details, etc.) Any further small changes incur a £5 fee.

  • Any major changes to the pose or composition of the image after I have started working on the lineart incur an up to £10 fee, depending on the complexity.

  • Revisions due to my own negligence or for the purpose of fixing my mistakes are free.

  • It is my discretion as to what constitutes a minor and major revision.

6. Copyright and usage policy

  • I, the Artist, retain the rights to any commissioned works.

  • All commissioned artworks are for non-commercial purposes only. Commercial use incurs a Commercial Use Fee of an additional 50% of the original price. The exception to this are items such as Twitch Emotes or Streaming Overlays, which already have the Commercial Use Fee included in the base price.

  • All commissioned artworks will include my watermark, with the exception of artworks intended for commercial use, which may not be removed or cropped out.

  • Let me know beforehand if you wish for me not to share your commission on my social media.

  • Using any of my artwork for NFTs or training generative AI is strictly prohibited.

7. Cancellation and refunds

  • Once the final artwork is approved, a refund is not permitted.

  • Refunds for cancellations requested by the Client are as follows: 100% for up to 48 hours after the initial payment or until I have begun working on the sketch; 80% once I have started working on the sketch; 50% after the sketch has been approved. No refunds are permitted once the rendering has started.

  • I reserve the right to cancel and refund your commission at any time. A full refund will be given if I cancel the commission for any reason.

  • You may not file a chargeback against me at any point during the process unless I have ceased communication (not responded to your messages) for more than 2 weeks.
